Concrete Work in the 8700 block of Eulalie Avenue scheduled week of July 10th.

Concrete Work in the 8700 block of Eulalie Avenue scheduled week of July 10th.

Commencing on approximately July 12, 2017, Public Works staff anticipates replacement of some concrete curb and sidewalks on both sides of Eulalie Avenue just east of 8756 Eulalie Avenue (Fire Station Building).  Following this work, demolition of defective roadway slabs on the southern half of the roadway will occur and new concrete installed as needed.  During this construction process, traffic control devices and roadway flagmen will be stationed to direct traffic while workers are present.

Upon completion of the southern half of the roadway, traffic will be diverted to the southern half of the roadway so that demolition and construction of the northern half roadway slabs can occur in a similar fashion as the previous work on the southern half of the roadway.

Motorists and pedestrians using Eulalie Avenue between Brentwood Boulevard and Mary Avenue are asked to exercise caution and be prepared to stop during the construction process.  The City of Brentwood would like to apologize in advance for any inconvenience this pavement work may cause you.  If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to contact Daniel Gummersheimer, Director of Public Works at (314) 963-8642.

As always, we thank you for your cooperation during this event.
